One of our senior managers left an employee's contract on a desk. Unfortunately this contract was read by another member of staff and the contents discussed in the canteen. What should I do?

Answer
The senior member of staff should have known better and you might consider disciplinary action. The member of staff that disseminated the information in the canteen may also face disciplinary action as the psychological contract of employment expects trust and confidence which would seem to have been broken in this case.
