How does this review meeting differ to an appraisal meeting?

Answer
A poor performance review meeting looks at specific areas of poor performance. You should be setting improvement targets and identifying what support and/or training the employee may need during a set period of time in order to achieve these targets/objectives. If there is no significant improvement by the time you are due to meet again you may issue a disciplinary sanction. This form enables you to keep track of your interventions.
